Some students at Wesley Primary School would like to know how sea turtles grow into adults.

Your mission for today is t0:
  1. Use the teacher's planner to write an explanation of how sea turtles grow into adults.

The sea turtle have been around since the dinosaurs, that is approximately 150 million years! The female sea turtle digs a hole in the sand and lays around 50 - 200 ping pong ball size eggs. Once she has layed her eggs she covers the hole and goes back to the ocean, leaving her eggs alone. After about 6 weeks the eggs will hatch but sadly 20% of the eggs laid will never hatch.

the sea turtle babies are as big as your palm of your hand as they are wandering on to the beach to safety they have to face strong predators like carbs seagulls and many more like rubbish but sadly 50% percent never make it.
once the babies reach the sea they look for hiding places like seaweed
and again they have to face strong predators including whales destroyable waves and
sharks and rubbish

Female turtle starts breeding a 20 years old  so they have to crawl back up to the beach and start laying eggs but only 2 can lay eggs some adult live up to 80 years.Write a sentence about how the sea turtle life cycle starts again.and the the life cycle starts all over again
